Timothy Amerson

 Timothy Amerson, 42, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, formerly of Timmonsville, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Amerson was born in Florence County, the son of Henry “Bo” and Cheryl Freeman Amerson.  Timothy graduated from Francis Marion University.   He worked with Wells Fargo Bank as an IT Specialist.  He was a member of   HAVE  LIFE CHURCH.

Those surviving are his parents of Timmonsville; partner, Arabia Pryor Boykin of Indian Trail, North Carolina; sisters, Pamela Amerson Williams and Stephanie (Alton) Chapman; his niece, Monica Chapman; nephews, Brandon Chapman and Bryan Chapman and his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Hanna.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Angela Parnell.
