Sada (White) Emerson Cochran

Florence, SC - Sada White Emerson Cochran, 93, passed away peacefully on Oct. 30, 2018 after a brief Illness with her family close by.

A Celebration of Life Service  will  be Friday, November, 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Florence.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Thursday at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto Street, Florence.

Sada was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Frank Davis and Thelma White.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Florence.  She enjoyed history,  genealogy  and  reading the Bible each day.    She enjoyed her family, and meeting and making new friends.

Surviving are three sons, and a daughter,  Kenneth  M. (Jane) Emerson, Jr., Thomas Heyward (Susan) Emerson, Alice Emerson (Steve) Hovis and Julian Bennett Emerson; one sister, Catherine White Garcia; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by first husband, Kenneth McKay Emerson, Sr and second husband, Earl Cochran; brothers, Frank, Jr, John, Willie, and Wally White and sisters, Jewel Redmond and Felicia Cashwell and her grandson Kenneth Emerson, III.
