Rose Jordan Perkins

Timmonsville, SC – Rose Jordan Perkins, 82, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Thursday evening, Oct. 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Rose was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Zoula A. and Sarah Flowers Hanna.  She graduated from the Timmonsville School System.  Rose worked for Pee Dee State Bank and retired from The Citizens Bank in Timmonsville.  She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Scott Jordan and his wife Angela; sisters, Deborah Robinson, Zulane Anderson; her grandchildren, Brandon (Katie) Jordan, Morgan Jordan, Karlee (Trey) Caudle, Amanda (Simms) Porter, Hunter Miller, Tyler Suggs, Betty Suggs, Hannah Wilkinson; step-daughters, Tonya Sagala, Cindy Miller, Tina Suggs, Mary Wilkins and the mother of her grand-daughters, Monica Cutts Jordan;  a special niece, Gay Lee.  She is preceded in death by her husband , James C. “Jimmy” Jordan; a son, Kevin Jordan; sisters, Jeannie Spears, Faye Smith, Uldine Barnett, Audrey Coker; brothers, Carroll, Robert ‘PeeWee”, Laurie, Cecil, and Eugene Hanna.
