Obituary
Timmonsville, SC – Waymon Ricky Hayes, 59, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Florence Memorials Gardens. The family will speak to those attending after the service and at other times at the home of Mark and Margie Steadman, 2821 S. Hill Road, Timmonsville, SC 29161.
Mr. Hayes was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, the son of the late Waymon Hayes, Jr and Ida Mae Suggs Hayes. He worked as a building framer in residential construction.
Ricky enjoyed NASCAR racing and his favorite baseball team the Atlanta Braves.
Surviving are a son, Joshua Hayes; sisters, Margie and her husband, Dr. Mark Steadman and Wanda Puckett; granddaughter, McKenzie Hayes and his canine companion and best friend, Bella.
