Obituary
Timmonsville, SC – Mildred Dority Odom, 77, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Funeral services will be Monday, May 1, 2023 at 12:00 at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to the service.
Mildred was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Mixon Dority. Mildred worked at Lamar Manufacturing, Nitronics and then for General Electric where she retired with 30 years of service. She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa (Calvin) Alexander; brother, David G. Dority; grandchildren, Lindsay A. (Matthew) Frost, Mitchell D. Alexander; great-grandchildren, Hammond and Winnifred Frost, Mason, Porter and Emerson Alexander. She is preceded in death by brothers, Thomas H. Dority, Jr, Richard J. Dority, Marion Dority, sister, Lillian Dority Legette.
