Florence, SC – Leonard Lee Davison, 83, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer.
A memorial service with honors will be Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC. The family will speak briefly to those attending at the cemetery.
Born in Oakdale, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Andrew and Kirby McIntyre Davison. He served eight years as Military Police and Sentry Dog Handler in the United States Air Force, including his service in the Vietnam War.
Leonard was a devoted husband, father and Papa. He had a quick wit and welcoming personality. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt, and passed this passion down to his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Constance “Connie” Davison; sister Ernestine McClinton; sons Leonard Davison Jr, Brian (Ashley) Davison, Timothy Davison; daughters, Michelle Davison and Angela (Joel) Minear; several grown grandchildren and his three youngest grandchildren, Keyuanna “Kiki” Minear, Tucker and Ellie Harper Davison.
