Florence, SC – Kenneth Ivin Camlin, Jr., 78, passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House.
A time of visitation will Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at a later time.
Kenneth was born in Williamsburg County the son of late Kenneth I. Camlin, Sr. and Myrtle Ackerman Camlin. Mr. Camlin was a railroad trainman for 38 years and served in the National Guard.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Barbara M. Camlin of Florence; a son, Keith Camlin of Florence, a daughter, Karen (Stoney) Melton of Conway, a sister, Janice Ruggles of Bishopville; six grandchildren, Ryan Camlin, Hunter (Hailey) Melton, Austin (Mykayla) Melton, Kayla (Tim) Moore, Lacy Camlin, Autumn Melton; two great-grandchildren, Gage & C. J.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth R. Camlin and a brother, Ronald Camlin.
