Florence, SC – Kathy Lorene Griffin Parker, 64, passed away on Feb. 14, 2022.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation after the service. A private burial will be at a later time.
Kathy was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late John Thurman and Beulah Carter Griffin.
Surviving are a daughter, Angel Weatherford and (Mike Carter); brothers, Ernest (Sandra) Daniels; sisters, Joann (Paul) Cusaac, Mary (Dennis) Nelson, Ann Evans, Gladys (Jano) Tucker, Nancy (Roosevelt) Creel and her grandchildren, Zack Parker, Dwayne (Brandi) Weatherford, Robbie Watts; great-grandchildren, D.J. Weatherford and Jordan Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Parker, her son, Thurman Eugene Parker and her brother, Danny Griffin.
