Jeanette Richburg Obituary

Pageland, SC - Jeanette Kea Cole Richburg, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022 after a long illness.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Strickland-Fagan Cemetery in Lake City, SC.

Jeanette was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Theo David and Mary Amerson Kea. Jeanette lived for Christ, loved going to church, reading her Bible, singing and praying for others.  She loved drinking coffee, talking on the phone and spending time with her family….all with a smile on her face.  To know her was to love her.

She is survived by her sister, Vickie (Scott) Thomas; brother, James Kea;  her grandchildren, Ginger (Josh) Cooper, Meagan Cole; great-grandchildren, Liston and Sawyer Cooper and soon to be Madeline Cole along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends Peggie, Priscilla and Linda. She is preceded in death by a son, Gary Cole; her husband, David W. Cole and brothers, Kenneth, Russell and Wayne Kea.

Jeanette’s family would like to extend special “Thanks” to Hospice of Union County, Atrium Healthcare, Monroe, NC, Palmetto Oaks Assisted Living, and those who prayed and reached out.
