Lamar, S.C. - Holly Annmarie Tolson, 12, passed away on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 at her home after a courageous battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
The daughter of Christie and Marty Tolson of Lamar. Holly was diagnosed with SMA when she was 8 months old. Among her favorite things to do were listening to music, dancing, playing on her computer, arts and crafts, helping her mom cook and spending time with her family.
Holly is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Zack and Harley of Florence, SC; maternal grandmother, Marie Crowe Neidlinger of Savannah, GA; paternal grandmother, Linda Dunn of Timmonsville, SC; paternal grandfather, Lavon Tolson (Jeanne) of Lamar, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Latrelle Crowe of Waycross, GA and aunt Teresa Edmiston of Lamar, SC. She is also survived by Ashley Sillsbury and Andy Tolson and nieces, Kaelyn and Emma Sillsbury. Holly was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert “Big Papa” Neidlinger; parental step-grandfather, Don Dunn and maternal great-grandmother, Donna Mae Neidlinger.
