Obituary

 Darlington, SC – Helena Elizabeth Benenhaley, 87, passed away on Monday April 24, 2023.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Florence  Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mrs. Benenhaley was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Carl Odell and Ruth Lamb McCutcheon.  She was retired from General Electric Medical with 25 years of service.  Helena was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  She was a member of Eastern  Star Chapter #340 and Lenora Chapter in Florence.

Surviving are three sons; Carlton C (Donna) Benenhaley, David R. (Simmie) Benenhaley and Jamey D. (April) Benenhaley; brother, Carlisle (Ingred) McCutcheon; grandchildren, Mark Benenhaley, Kara Benenhaley, Ivey Mom, Jacklyn Benenhaley, Rwillow Wilson, Briar Wilson, Austin Davis, Shiloh Wilson;  a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Benenhaley, a grandson, Chris Benenhaley, sisters, Treva Tomoloo, and Debra McKenzie.
