F. Bennie Windham

Lynchburg, SC – Fennie Bennie Windham, 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

A Private burial will be Friday, April 17, 2020 at the National Cemetery in Florence, SC. Due to COVID-19, only the immediate family can view the interment from their cars.

Bennie was born in Lynchburg, SC, the son of the late David and Rosa Logan Windham. He was a life member of the Lynchburg First Baptist Church.  He was involved in many of the church activities.   Bennie was a retired Mail Carrier.  He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.  He was a faithful member of the Lynchburg American Legion Post.

Bennie was preceded in death by six (6) sisters, and seven (7) brothers.  He leaves many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Lynchburg First Baptist Church, C/O Marie Tolson, 104 Tolson Rd, Lynchburg, SC  29080 or the American Legion Post, C/O Larry Logan, 23 McLeod Street, Lynchburg, SC 29080.
