Christine (Kelly) McIntosh

Lynchburg, SC- Christine Kelly McIntosh, 95, passed away on Saturday, August 31,2019.

Funeral services will be  Monday, September 2, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in the Lynchburg United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Presbyterian Cemetery in Lynchburg, SC.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. before the service at the church.

Christine was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Vance and Flora Matilda Watson Kelly.  She was a member of Lynchburg United Methodist Church. She was a Licensed Cosmetologist and was the owner of the “Beauty Nook” in  Lynchburg until she retired.   She enjoyed singing in the church choir.  She was a member of  the Women’s Missionary Service of the Church.  Christine enjoyed  spending time at the beach with family and friends.

Christine was married to the late William W. McIntosh.

Surviving are two daughters, Gerry (Bayne) Hayes, Lynda Owens; a sister, Deloris Wallace; brother, Willard Kelly; grandchildren, Audry Christine Owens, Tracy Trisdale Avin, three great grandchildren, Garrett William Owens, Stephen Christopher Avin and  William Mason Smith.  She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Channon Owens; two sisters, Odessa Blackmon and Margaret Carter; five brothers, Laurie, "Bud", Reggie, Cephus and "Winky" Kelly.

The family would like to “Thank” Janice for the love and care shown to their mother during this time.
