Charles Jeffords

Florence, SC – Charles Isaiah Jeffords 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

A graveside service will be Friday, June 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Florence National Cemetery.  Burial will follow the service.  The family will receive visitors at the home at 1618 Poinsett Drive.

Mr. Jeffords was born in Florence County, the son of the late Chatman and Mary Cox Jeffords.  He served in the US NAVY. While serving in the NAVY, he flew with the BLUE ANGELS.  Charles was a member of Tans Bay Baptist Church.  He had the heart of a Servant and work and served faithfully in his church.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Betty Boatwright Jeffords; daughter, Geneva and her husband, Dr. Larry Rabon; three grandchildren, Lauren Richburg, James Bartol, Blake (Ashley) Bartol; four great grandchildren, Geneva Richburg, Christine Bartol, Madison Bartol and Kensley Bartol.  He is preceded in death by his son, Billy Jeffords.
