Obituary
Florence, SC – Carol Marie Cottrell O’Hair, 65, passed away on June 5, 2023.
The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. A private entombment will be at a later time.
Mrs. O’Hair was born in Los Angeles County, California, the daughter of the late Sylvanus and Ann Cottrell. Before moving to Florence, Carol was a Loan Processor with the Bank of America. She was a big supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Carol enjoyed life, traveling, her family and sharing time with her friends and their children. She and her husband loved racing through the California desert in their dune buggies and their Honda ATV’s.
Surviving are her husband, Steven O’Hair; two brothers, James Cottrell, Stephen (Kathy) Cottrell; sister, Susan Carmichael, and her nieces and nephews.
