Florence, SC – Louise Elizabeth “Betty” Mims, 72, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
Betty was born in Dillon, SC., the daughter of the late Charles E “Slim” Mims and the late Juanita English Mims. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Before retiring she worked with Fleet Funding and Assurant Companies of Florence.
Surviving are sisters, Jayne (Larry) Younginer, Rhonda (Timmy) Campbell; brother, David Mims; two nieces, Melissa Younginer (Dustin) Wade, Katie Younginer (Breck) Granger and 2 great nephews, Davis and Andrew; and her special friend, Joyce Guffy. She is preceded in death by a sister, Ruth M, Drushel, brother, Charlie T. Mims and a nephew, Lance Birney Younginer.
