Obituary
Florence, SC - Betty Cox Goodyear, 83, passed away on Monday August 14, 2023.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning August 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the mausoleum at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will speak to all those attending after the service.
Betty was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late H.D. and Bessie Jackson Cox.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Betty retired from a local Trucking Company as Office Manager.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Francis Marion Goodyear; her son, Robert M. Goodyear; sister, Sandra C. (J. Gary) Bullard; a granddaughter, Mandy G. (Justin) Everett. She is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy B. Cox.
Memorial may be made to Peniel Baptist Church, 4186 Twin Church Road, Timmonsville, SC 29161.
