Archie Boan, Jr. Obituary

Archie Proctor Boan, Jr., 58, of Darlington, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at his residence.

A drop-in visitation will be held at his residence, 2626 Robert Drive, Darlington, beginning at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021. It is requested that social distancing be observed.

Mr. Boan was born in Darlington County the son of the late Archie Proctor Boan, Sr., and Katherine Lyles Boan.

He worked in pool installation with Pee Dee Pool & Spa.

Surviving are his son, Joshua Boan; daughter, Beth Parker; the mother of his children, Shelia McWhirt; sister, Melissa Boan (James Crosby); niece, Deana (Randy) Broach; and his best friend, Robert Day.

Preceding him in death was his sister Kathy Anderson.
