Florence, SC – Angela Yvonne Turbeville Matthews, 59, passed into her eternal life on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 at the Hospice House in Florence.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Florence Baptist Temple.  Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will greet visitors at the church  beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Angela was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of Buddy and Betty Turner Turbeville.  She was a Mortgage Underwriter for many years with various Companies in the Florence area.

Surviving are; her husband of 31 years, John W. Matthews, Jr; daughter, Mandy Walters; brother, Dale Turbeville and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by two brothers, Randy and Gary Turbeville.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital; C/O Omar Shrine, 176 Patriot Point, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina  29464.
