Woodrow N. Driggers

Darlington- Woodrow N. Driggers, 68, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will beWednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Byrd Cemetery,Timmonsville. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:00 p.m. beforethe service on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Driggers was born in Florence County,the son of the late Cleo Marion and Lena Matthew Driggers.Before his retirement, he was employed withSuperior Machine Co.as a certified welder.

Surviving are two sons, Mark(Amy) Driggers, Timmonsville, Matthew (Kristen) Driggers, El Paso, Texas; threebrothers, Gene (Libby) Driggers, Effingham, Tex (Barbara) Driggers, Effingham,Ronnie (Margaret) Driggers, Mars Bluff;one sister, Katy Blalock, Evergreen, SCand three grandchildren, Abigail and Luke Driggers, Matthew Aaron Driggers, Jr.
