Wilson Jeffords, 74, beloved husband and father passed away on Friday, Sept 26, 2025 after a long illness.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Jeffords was born in Florence County, the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Jeffords and Leona Cox Isgett Jeffords. He was a retired Meat Market Manager for Lyerly's Market of Florence.  He enjoyed old cars, beach music, being with family and watching sports on TV.  He loved being outside.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Billie Faye Norman Jeffords; two sons, Michael Allen Jeffords, Jason Bradley (Joye) Jeffords; daughter, Christal Jo Jeffords; three brothers, Thomas (Pearl) Jeffords, Wesley Jeffords, Jimmy Ray (Joan) Jeffords; sisters, Dorothy Lyerly, Annie Lee Helms, Shirley Morris and sister-in-law, Alma Isgett; three grandchildren, Hanna, M.J. and Junior Jeffords.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Isgett.
