Timmonsville – William C. Stalvey,77,died suddenly on December 13,2015 in a Florence Hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church,Darlington. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Stalvey was born in Greeleyville, SC, the son of the late John and Alma Osborne Stalvey. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for a construction company before retiring. He served his country in the US Navy. William was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, Darlington, SC.

Surviving are his wife of Timmonsville, Alice B. Stalvey; two sons, Brian (Mary Ann)Stalvey, Michael Stalvey all of Timmonsville; two daughters, Ann Marie Doriety, Florence, Sunny Williamson, Timmonsville; a brother,Henry Stalvey, Dothan, Alabama and seven grandchildren, Devin Stalvey,Skler Doriety,Sierra Doriety,Selena McElveen, Alsaiah Parance, Ariana Stalvey and Alana Williamson.
