William Donald Pierce, Jr., aged 64, of Murfreesboro, Tenn, passed away on September 7, 2024.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for September 21, 2024, at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, located at 2000 Marsh Avenue, Florence, SC at 2:00 p.m.

Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late William Donald Pierce, Sr and Barbara Deas Pierce.

Donny graduated from South Florence High School and furthered his education at Florence Darlington Tech.  He dedicated many years of service to the Florence Paper Mill before retiring.  Beyond his professional life, Donny was passionate about fishing and spending time at the lake.

He leaves behind his wife, Karen Turner Pierce; brother, Gary C. Pierce.
