William Christopher "Chris" Winburn, 66, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born in Hartsville SC, he was the son of the late William Raeford Winburn and the late Jo Ann Wallace Winburn.

Chris served in the United States Navy, serving during the Cold War. He was an avid Gamecock fan. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to spend time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Ginger Renee Winburn; daughter, Bridget Winburn; sons, Chad Winburn, John D. Johnson, Curtis Wilson, Nathan Winburn; grandchildren, Blake Johnson, Madie Johnson, Payton Johnson, Axel Winburn, Blazley Winburn, Dawson Winburn, Jazzy Moore, Nessa Moore, Thomas Cogdil, Harley Wilson, Rachel Wilson; sister, Jean Hutson (Scott); brother, Travis Winburn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Winburn; sister, Rachell Broom.

A funeral service to honor his life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 5th, 2026 at Pine Ridge Holiness Church with Pastor Phillip Jones and Steve Winburn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Florence National Cemetery.
