Olanta, SC – William "Bill" Bacot, 90,  passed away on Sept. 10, 2021.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Mr. Bacot was born in Florence County, the son of the late Sanders and Marjorie Lawhon Bacot.  He was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.  "Bill" as he was known to friends and family drove trucks and farmed in Florence County all of his life.   He served his country in the US Air Force.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Rose Marie Stallings Bacot; daughters, Kassie Stallings, Cynthia Stallings; son, Bo Bacot; brother, Ted (Judy) Bacot; his grandchildren, Jennifer Driggers, Amber Grace Canady, Dana Kinlaw, Johnathan and Zachary McClam and Ashley Strickland that he loved like a daughter; and 4 great-grandchildren.   He is preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Denise Bacot; brother, Jimmy Bacot; sister, Sandra Baker.
