Florence, SC – William David "Bill" Ashley, III, 46, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 8, 2022.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral Home.

Mr. Ashley was born in Sumter, SC, the son of Donna Thomas Ashley and the late William David Ashley, Sr.  He worked as a Recovery Agent for a Towing service.

Surviving are his mother; Fiancé, Elena Jackman; daughter, Baylea Ashley and her Fiancé, Ethan Hewitt; brother, William Ashley, Jr; sisters, Tracey (Charles) Preece, Robin (Johnny) Miller, Cindy Tumbleston ; two step-sons, Nicholas Jackman and Nathan Jackman.; two nieces, April (Todd) Jones, Cassidy Welch, nephew, Houston Welch.  He is preceded in death by a son, Austin Ashley and brother, Richard Kirkland Ashley.
