Timmonsville, SC – Wib Lee Vivian Weatherly, 73, passed away on Wednesday, Oct 13, 2021.

Funeral services will be Saturday at high noon in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation from 11:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at Byrd Cemetery in Timmonsville.

Mr. Weatherly was born in Florence County, the son of the late Wib and Julia McKay Weatherly.  He worked with the US Postal Service in various positions.  He was a mail carrier, in charge of vehicles and dock supervisor, before retiring.  He received his sales and broker license for real estate, attending auctioneer school and finally before  retiring a second time, he drove long distance trucks. Mr. Weatherly was a U. S. Army veteran having served his country in Vietnam.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Linda Langston Weatherly; son, Jason (Kristie) Weatherly; daughter, Betsy (Wayne) Langston; brothers, Liston (Cindy) Weatherly, Greg (Judy) Weatherly; sisters, Barbie (John) Gregory, Ginny (Tim) Edwards; six grandsons, Way,III,  Pierce and Web Langston, Blaine, Ethan and Gavin Weatherly.
