On Friday morning June 21,2024, Wendy Amerson Thompson surrounded by her loving family said good-bye to this earthly home.

A time of visitation will begin at 3:00 to 4:00 Sunday afternoon, June 23, 2024 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  At other times, the family will be at 446 S. Sansbury Road, Timmonsville, SC  29161.

Wendy was born in Darlington County, the daughter of David P. Amerson and "Judy" Ellen Dority Amerson.  She worked in the Darlington County School System as a Student Data Manager.  She was a loving wife and mother.

Surviving are her husband, Herbert C. "Clint" Thompson, Jr; daughter, Allison and Fiancé, Clayton; mother and father-in-law, Herbert C. Sr and Brenda B. Thompson.  She is preceded in death by her brother, David P. Amerson, Jr.
