Florence, SC – Wayne Marshall Pipkin,73, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum at Florence Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in the cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Wayne was born in Darlington, SC, the son of the late Coke Pipkin and Lucille Segars Pipkin.  He was a Supervisor with Superior Machine until he retired.  Wayne attended and was a member of  Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Peggy Caulder Pipkin; two sons, Brent (Carrie) Pipkin, Kyle Pipkin and his loving grandchildren, Riley and Abigail Pipkin; and "Ginger" his special canine companion.
