Florence, SC – Vivian Kennedy Hanna, 81, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery near Timmonsville. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral Home.

Vivian was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Robert B and Corrine Stone Kennedy.  She was a graduate of  McClenaghan High School.  Many people will remember Vivian's sweet smile as a waitress at Young's Plantation Inn Restaurant for forty years.

Surviving are her husband, Carroll J. Hanna; sisters, Laura K. Stone, Hirfa Walker, Lorraine (Lannie) McHargue; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by brothers, Charles Kennedy, Paul Kennedy, Dorran Kennedy, James C. Kennedy, James G. Kennedy, and a sister, Dorothy Coward.
