Timmonsville, SC – Virginia Jordan Lee, 92, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, Nov.9, 2019.

Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.   Visitation will follow the service. A private burial will be at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of  the late Walter A. and Eula Mary Anderson Jordan.  Virginia was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.  Before retiring,  Virginia  worked for the SC Forestry Commission as a Tower Operator.

She was married to the late Willard R. Lee, Sr.

Surviving are three daughters, Ann (Leon) Hobson, Gaye (David) Hill, Bobbie (Gene) Burnett; sister, Edith Miles; eleven grandchildren and twenty- four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Lee and son-in-law, Wendell Beverly; a special niece, Debra Jordan, who cared for Virginia for the past year. She is preceded in death by a son, Randy Lee, two daughters, Wanda Lee and Carol Beverly, three brothers, Gerald, Al and Bill Jordan and her sister, Catherine  Floyd.
