Virginia Steenrod Eskew, 76, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in a Columbia hospital.

Virginia was born in Shelby, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Betty Jane Byrd Steenrod.  She served her country in the US Army.  After a honorable discharge from the service, she began working with La Z-Boy of Florence.  She was a loving mother to two daughters.

Surviving are daughters, Kelcie Eskew and Olivia (Matt) Smith; brother, Daniel Steenrod; sister, Linda Steenrod and two loving grandchildren, Alexis Smith and Skylar Smith.

The family will plan for a memorial service at a later time
