Timmonsville, SC – Virgie "Ruth" Burrows, 73, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Palmetto Street Church of God, Florence.  The family will have a time of visitation from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. before the service at the church.  Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  You are asked to wear a mask and social distancing will be observed.

Ruth was born in Laurinburg, NC, the daughter of the late William Isaac and Virgie Bell Honeycutt Deese.   She was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God.  Ruth worked in purchasing and receiving at First Health of Carolinas Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.

Surviving are her husband of 13 years, T.L. Burrows; daughters, Virginia "GiGi" Denny, Anna Sutton Key, step-daughter, Vicki (Gary) Richardson, Michelle (Jerry) Lowdermilk; three brothers, Stan Deese, A.J. (Jeanette) Deese, Gerald (Darlene) Deese; three sisters, Fran Parkerson, Janice Lewis, Hazel (James) Spivey and her grandchildren, Lauren Cashion, Trenton Key, Ethan Key, Isaac Denny, William Denny, Caleb Burrows, Rachel Burrows, Samuel Richardson, Stormy Burrows, Jamison Burrows.  Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Sutton, step-son Tommy Burrows, and sister Linda Louise Deese.
