V. Kerry Lewis, 63, of Effingham, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a private burial.

Mr. Lewis was born in Florence, the son of Sondra McKay Hayes and the late Rembert Lewis.  He worked with Spectrum before retiring.

Survivors are his mother of Florence; two sons, Kristian Lewis and Chase Lewis; his grandson, Housten Gibbs.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Renee' Lewis.
