Tony C. Hill, 71 passed away at his home on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 after an illness.

The family will receive on Monday evening, January 13, 2025 beginning at 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  A Celebration service will be held later.

Born in Germany to military parents, he was the son of the late Ernest I. and Leola Boswell Hill.  He too served in the military in the US Army.  He did Landscape

Development as the owner of Hill Construction.  Some of his favorite pass times were NASCAR, tractors, being outdoors, watching the birds and of course his family.

He enjoyed spending time with his canine companions and there were some cats in the group.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Linda Maker Hill; son, Tony "Buddy" Hill, Jr (Diane); Haylee (John) Magee; sister, Ginny Wilson and his five grandchildren, William Jackson, Korben Magee, Coral (Andria) Webster, Bayden Hill, Mylin Hill and one great grandchild, Gabby.  He is preceded in death by brother, E.I. Hill, III.

Memorials may be made the Humane Society of Darlington, SC.
