Florence, SC - Tommy Rotan, 66 passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family,  in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation following the service.

Mr. Rotan was born in Florence the son of the late Johnny R. and Sadie Moore Rotan.

He worked with the City of Florence as a Team Leader Operator in the Storm Water Division for more than 40 years before retiring.  He was an avid motorcyclist.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Lynne Nichols Rotan; son, Thomas (Rebecca) Rotan; sister, Ruth Cooper and the light of his eyes, grandchildren, Addison Kate and Jude Thomas Rotan; also surviving are;  sister-in-law, Lisa (Brian) Kennedy; brother-in-law, Mitchell Nichols and his nieces and nephews.
