Timmonsville, SC,  William Thomas "Tommie" Jordan, 78 passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  A Private burial will be later. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home before the service.

Mr. Jordan was born in Darlington County (Timmonsville), the son of the late Robert Foster and Myrtle Joye Jordan.   He attended the University of South Carolina and continued to be a big fan.  He also enjoyed watching and supporting the Atlanta Braves Baseball Team. He was a member of Lamar United Methodist Church.

Tommie worked as a Bookkeeper with the family Farm-Fertilizer business in Timmonsville for many years.  He enjoyed a time at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home receiving  visitors and families for services.

Surviving is his sister, Elizabeth "Beckie" Jordan Waden.
