Hartsville, SC - Tennie DeFee Hill Carraway, 91, passed away in a Florence hospital after an illness on November 12, 2017.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, Nov 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. A time of visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.

Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late Talbert and Anna Hancock DeFee. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church, Darlington. Tennie retired from Union Carbide and then from McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Surviving are her son, Ronald K. Hill, Sr. and one grandson, Ronald K. Hill, Jr; five step children, and a number of step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tennie is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Randolph K. Hill, two infant sons, Ted Lynward Hill and Randolp K. Hill, Jr; four brothers, Lona, Ray, Morrell, Carol and a step-brother, Tracy DeFee, two sisters, Mae Lewis, Winnie Haynes; her second husband, Marvin L. Carraway.
