Florence, SC – Theodore  "Ted" Grover Self, 55, died Friday, May 20, 2022 after an illness.

The family will have a drop-in visitation at 468 Hickory Grove Circle, Florence on Sunday May 22, 2022 beginning at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A private burial will be at a later time in Florida.

Mr. Self was born in Orlando, Florida, the son of the late Edward William Self  and Rebecca Ishmael Self Mannery.  He was a Sales Manager with Asea-Brown-Boveri.

Ted enjoyed spending time with his family, Dart throwing, Ping-Pong and fishing. He was a fan of Star Wars and Star Trek.

Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Susan Graves Self, step-son, Jason Fosterling; Step-daughter, Lisa Boyette; two brothers, Chris Self, Eric (Trish) Self; eight grandchildren, Kali, Taylor, Gabrielle, Blake, Austin, Naya, Collin and Preston and 3 great-grandchildren, Fabiana, Sienna and Addyson.
