Florence- Sue Raines Hobson, 75, died suddenly on July 4, 2015 in Pensacola, Florida.

A memorial service will be Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence. The family will speak to guest after the service.

Sue was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Rembert Lee Raines and Annie Mae Collins Raines. She is preceded in death also, by her step-mother, Vista Jordan Raines. Before retiring, Sue was an LPN at Bruce Hospital. She worked in the Operating Room as a Scrub Nurse. She was a member of Timmonsville First Baptist Church.

She was the mother of sons, Louis B. Hobson, Jr, and Robert W.(Gaynor) Hobson; a brother, Rembert Lee (Joyce) Raines, Jr; two sisters,Carolyn M. Webb, Shelby J. (Gareth) Welch and grand-children, Chelsea Hobson, Charlotte Smith Hobson. She is preceded in death by a son, Lee R. Hobson and a brother, George Morris Raines.
