Stephanie Brown Stone, 71, passed away on Sunday evening, Nov. 17, 2024 after an illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church. There will be a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Florence Memorial Gardens.

Stephanie was born in Marion, SC, the daughter of the late P.T. Brown, Jr and Mary Alice Brown.   She worked with PeeDee Electric as an Executive Secretary.  She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Rowdy Bunch Sunday School.  Stephanie and her late husband were members of the Omar Shrine, Provost Guard.  She shared a love of work with the Children's Shriner Hospital.  Stephanie enjoyed trips to the beach with her family, when possible.

Stephanie was married to the late Donald E. Stone.

Surviving are son, Jeff Landeck; daughter, Lori Paterson; step-daughter, Melanie S. Russell; brother, Bill (Vicki) Brown; sisters, Peggy B. (Tom) Parker, Nancy (Steve) Frith; grandchildren, Caroline "Abby" Paterson, Cameron Paterson, Payton Landeck, James Goss, Chad Goss, Kathryn Russell and her great-grandchild, Easton. Her special friend, Crystal Allen.  She is preceded in death by a sister, Libby Brown Gardner.
