Chandalon Star Grainger Newby, 45, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday , August 18, 2020.

Star was the daughter of the late Thomas Melvin Grainger, Jr. and Mary Helen Lynch Grainger.

She is survived by her sons, Gabriel Edgar Ramirez, Zachary Allen Lynch and Blane Thomas Lynch;  her brothers, Thomas Shane Grainger and his wife, Desiree and Heath Ralston Grainger and his wife, Melody. She is preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Melvin Grainger; maternal grandparents, Walter Clyde "Peddler" Lynch and Lillie Beatrice Dorriety Lynch; paternal grandparents, Thomas Melvin "Pete" Grainger and Azalea Cusaac Grainger-Watford and step-grandfather, Leland Watford.

A private funeral service will be held at a later time.
