Timmonsville, SC – Madison L. "Sonny" Greene, 73, died on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 after an illness.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Sardis Baptist Church.

Sonny worked with Sumter Utilities for 40 years before retiring. He then opened Sonny's Cycle Shop. He loved motorcycles and riding every chance he could.

He was the son of the late Sibbie Strickland Greene.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Shirley Bell Greene; two sons, Darren (Sharon) Greene, Chad (Carla)Greene; two daughters, Teresa (Trenice) Scales, Candy (Tony) Carter; brother, Jimmy (Debbie) Allen; four sisters, Brenda (Mike) Fields, Pat (Paul) Locklair, Norma Jean Allen, Judy McCann; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Eugene Greene and Annie Dell Floyd.
