Sonny Gale Johnson Frye , 47 of Timmonsville passed away April 24, 2024 after an illness.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 11th at 1 pm at Bethsaida United Methodist Church located at 4713 S. Irby Street, Effingham, SC 29541

Sonny was born in Monroe, Michigan to Edna Mae Munn Coleman. Sonny and Enda returned to Timmonsville where Sonny was raised.

Sonny was proceeded in death by her beloved mother, Edna Mae Munn Coleman. Her Brother Darryl Allen, Sisters, Trudy Edwards and Tammy Poston. Her Aunts, Mauldene Holloman, Mary Nell Turner, Elsie Keck and Uncles Woodrow Munn, and Robert Munn.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Frye, of Sarasota, FL , Her Children, Logan Wiggins and Connor Wiggins both of Marion, SC , Her father, Jack Coleman of Timmonsville, Her Uncle, Jimmy Munn of Darlington, Her Aunts, Patsy (Andy) Anderson, of Darlington, Sandra Turner of Aiken, Cathy Weaver of Effingham, Diane Munn of Effingham, Nancy (LeGrand) Coker of Turbeville, Linda Norton of Effingham. Siblings, GA Johnson of Cowpens, Linda Johnson Whitby, Terry Johnson Jones and Sherry Johnson Hightower all of Aiken. Grant Coleman of Raleigh,  and a special friend, Christie Blinzler of New Mexico.
