Timmonsville, SC – Shirley Truett Singletary, 74, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022.

A special time of visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Singletary was born in Lynchburg, SC, the daughter of the late James Lawton and Virginia Thompson Truett.

Surviving are her husband of  50 years, William "Bill" Singletary;   daughters, April (Chris) Moody, Pamela Blackwell, step-daughter, Cyndi (Chris) Shull; grandchildren, Kailey and Bryson Moody, Trey and Tyler Sox; step- grandchildren, Ryan and Haydn Shull. Surviving also her best friend of 45 years Debra Streett and her husband Gene.   She is preceded in death by a brother, James Ervin Truett and step-father, Earl Truett.

The family would like to THANK the Staff of Faith Healthcare for the love and care given to Mrs. Singletary during her stay.
