Timmonsville, SC – Shirley Teal Anderson, 86, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 after a sudden illness.

A graveside service will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Pisgah United Methodist Church, Florence.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Darlington, SC, the daughter of the late Edward C and Marie Young Teal.  She worked in the Public School System until retiring.  She was a long time member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.  She sang in the Church Choir and participated in many activities of the church.  She and her husband hosted many bus tours traveling to many interesting sights across the United States.

Surviving are; her husband of 68 years, James W. Anderson; son, Ed (Iris) Anderson; daughter, Kelly (Mike) McInville; her grandchildren, Jay (Emily) Anderson , Ryan (Amber) Anderson, Taylor (Jason) Bell; three great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by an infant son, James Joseph Anderson and grandson, Lewis McInville.
