Timmonsville, SC – Sherri Ann Bailey Thompson, 49, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Florence at 1:00 p.m. The family will have a time of visitation Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Sherri was born in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Elizabeth May Bailey and the late Gilbert Hudson Bailey.

Surviving are her husband, James Lee Thompson; two daughters, Marissa Dent, Katerina "Kat" Thompson; step-sons, Leigh Thompson, James Thompson, Matthew Thompson; brother, David (Lisa) Bailey; grandchild, Sonya.
