Sharon Marie Evans , 74 went to her eternal resting place on Saturday evening August 3, 2024, in the presence of her husband and children.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.    The family will have a visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.  Burial will be Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Florence National Cemetery.

Mrs. Evans was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Edgar and Mildred Tedder Vause.  She was a very loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother.  Sharon enjoyed  time in the garden, singing and dancing, going to yard sales and spending time with her family She is survived by the love of her life, Everette Evans, the man she was married to for 56 years; three daughters, Angel (Bart) Jacobus, Laurie (Durant) Cook, Michelle (Mark) Harrelson; seven grandchildren, Robin (Bryan) Hicks, Brandon (Emmie) Jacobus, Ashley Jacobus, Kasey (Eric) Jacobus, Savannah (Jonathan) Floyd, Christopher Holland, Robert (Starr) Sports, Connie Cook and ten great-grandchildren.  Sharon is preceded in death by a grandson, William James Holland.

The family will be at the home of her daughter at other time at 1940 Pudding Swamp Road, Turbeville, SC
