Sarah Kellis Prosser, 78, ascended to her heavenly home on July 30, 2025 after an illness.

Services for Sarah will be Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation following the service.  Burial will be private later at Byrd Cemetery.

Sarah was born in Sumter but, her roots were in Timmonsville growing up.  She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Hollis Polk Kellis.  She worked as a desk clerk in the Hotel Industry.  Sarah attended First Baptist Church in Timmonsville.

Surviving are her husband, Gregg Prosser; daughter Tammy (Bruce) Irick; brother, Robert William (Lek) Kellis; grandchildren, Nathan Irick and Carrie Irick and Holly, the beloved canine companion and furbaby.
