Florence - Sallie Viola Goff, 80, passed away in a local hospital on July 21, 2017.

A funeral service will be Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto St., Florence. The family will have a time of visitation following the service until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Sallie was born in Horry County, SC, the daughter of the late William "Bud" and Effie Todd Alford. She was the widow of the late Dow Leonard Goff.

Surviving are her children; Wayne Goff, Windell Goff and Sandra Goff, all of Florence, a sister, Annie Goff , Conway, a daughter-in-law, Sheila Goff, Florence; four grandchildren, Melvin Wayne Goff, Jr., Marshall Goff, Jr., Matthew Goff and Sharon Manship;seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Alford and two sisters, Clarkie Todd and Pearl Hudson.
